The flag of the aland ISLANDS is the regional flag of the aland Islands inhabited by Swedish-speaking minorities 

on the west coast of Finland. The design is in the background of the swedish flag, 

with a red cross symbolizing Finland. although the finnish flag is a blue cross with white background,

In 1954, the oran Islands autonomous Region officially designated this flag as a regional flag.
